About Nicotinos

Nicotinos is an independent editorial website published by Nicotinos World Distribution AB in Stockholm, Sweden. We write reference material about the Scandinavian tradition of small tins and the design, flavour and storage knowledge that has grown up around them over generations.

What we cover

• Heritage: how the Nordic habit of carrying a compact tin became part of everyday life in Sweden and Norway.
• Design: tin shapes, lid mechanisms, labelling conventions and the graphic styles of different decades.
• Flavour notes: the botanical and aromatic vocabulary used to describe mint, berry, citrus and herbal profiles.
• Storage: general guidance on keeping tins cool and dry, and on recycling metal and plastic lids.

How we work

Our articles are written and reviewed by our own editors. We aim to be clear, neutral and useful, in the manner of a reference guide rather than an advertisement. We make no claims about wellbeing or effects, and we do not recommend any brand.

Nicotinos sells nothing. There are no orders, no accounts and no payments on this website. Our content is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
